Where is Billy Shears?
I was smoking with Billy not too long back, so I know he’s for real. We already released two songs together ‘Just A Bite’ and ‘Your Motivation’ and got hot on a new follow up tune. Then his phone went dark.
I was on the case. Calling up parents, brother, known associations, last known address, whatever,, some of their phones were out of service too. Nada, nothing, I got no answers.
It makes me think he went back to the jungles just west of San Paulo and didn’t let anyone know? From what I understand, it’s something he does.
Idiomatic. Truth seeker. A new world generational poet. Lost into the jungle?
I did find his passport photo online and this clip from the ‘Automatic’ music video by Social Lubricant.
When we first hooked up to do some recording I asked some questions. You know, just to get a feel for the temperature of the room.

We were good to go… From there we rolled up two songs of pure ecstasy capturing the moment we turned our heads into a singular force. For me it was magnetic, effortless, a deep dive with a clear sight.
Billy Shears is missing.
Some day he’ll come back from the jungle. I’ve got no bones on this. My return journey came through a desert.
